Two kitchens raised me. One table unites them.
Growing up in a home where abuela's pozole simmered on one burner and a pot of matzo ball soup bubbled on the other, Chef Carlos Medina learned early that flavor knows no borders. His Mexican-American upbringing in Riverside's Eastside and years spent apprenticing in New York's legendary delis forged a culinary voice unlike any other.
Deli-cioso is the culmination of that journey — a chef-driven kitchen where hand-cured pastrami meets house-pressed tortillas, where challah dough is braided with jalapeño, and where every plate tells the story of two traditions finding common ground.
"The best food comes from honoring where you've been while imagining where you could go."
— Chef Carlos Medina
